AKAI MPC Live II Workstation and Sampler with built-in Speakers is available

Akai announced the beginning of shipment for the new controller Akai MPC Live II. We’ve been introduced to the new workstation and sampler at the end of March 2020, when some photos of the instrument leaked on Reddit.

The new version has preserve the compact idea of things and also, the versatility: you can use the controller both in together with a computer, and /or completely independently of it.

The main difference between Akai MPC Live II and its predecessor was the presence of built-in speakers. According to the manufacturer, the speakers are not just a toy, which turned out to be in the controller on the principle of “let them be there”.

The company claims that the built-in monitoring system is ideally suited to the controller and sounds great, providing accurate sound transmission over the entire frequency range.
