We think that Korg saw enough new synthesizers and fantastic oscillators beasts and so on on the today market and it is ready to strike back, somehow. On the official Instagram account of Korg UK was posted that the company is ready to release a recreation of one of their legendary synthesizers.
What is the Legendary Synthesizer from Korg ???
We’ve become curious about it so we’ve take a screenshot, we’ve put it in Photoshop, a little enhance on exposure and … Korg Triton, the one and the only (ok, not the only) Korg Triton.
Just a little history behind Korg Triton
Triton is one of the bestsellers from Korg. The device was equipped with a full-size keyboard and 32 MB of Waveform ROM for storing sound waveforms. The built-in sampler had 16 MB of memory and contained up to 1000 samples. Triton also had a 16-track sequencer with support for patterns, arpeggiators and digital stereo effects.
It was build between 1999 and 2005 and it was sold like crazy worldwide. Even in our days it is a fantastic market for it. Triton was the successor of the popular Trinity and Oasys was the next integrated sampler workstation and sequencer.
Now, for God’s sake we just hope that it is about a software version or an app because we don’t think that the world is ready to watch “The return of Triton”. Or maybe we are so wrong, who knows.
