The new 5150III Head released by EVH is the little brother of well-known 5150III 100-watt Head. It has about all the same features, it is smaller so more portable and pairs perfectly withĀ the new EVH 5150III 2Ć12 and 1Ć12 cabinets, in addition to the current EVH 5150III 4Ć12 cabinet.
EVH 5150III Amp Specs
EVH 5150III 50-Watt Head is a three-channel Amp. Channels one and two share EQ, with gain, low, mid, high and volume controls; channel three has gain, low, mid, high, volume and master presence and resonance controls. Other features include selectable impedance (4, 8 or 16 ohms), dual parallel speaker output jacks, effects loop, headphone jack, line out and black hardware. Included four-button footswitch has 1/4ā input jack and also accommodates MIDI footswitching. EVH 5150III 50-Watt Amp is available in black and ivory textured vinyl covering with black EVH-striped grille.
The new EVH 5150III 2Ć12 and 1Ć12 Cabinets makes perfect team with EVH 5150III 50-Watt Head. The 5150III 2Ć12 cabinet is rated at 16 ohms and is loaded with dual 30-watt Celestion Speakers. It is exactly half the cubic size (by volume) of its 4Ć12 big brother, with a head-mounting mechanism and tilt-back legs.
EVH 5150III 1Ć12 Cabinet is also rated at 16 ohms and is loaded with a single 30-watt Celestion Heritage speaker. It is exactly 25 percent of the cubic size (by volume) of its 4Ć12 big brother. Both cabinets are available in black and ivory.
