The new 5150III Head released by EVH is the little brother of well-known 5150III 100-watt Head. It has about all the same features, it is smaller so more portable and pairs perfectly with the new EVH 5150III 2×12 and 1×12 cabinets, in addition to the current EVH 5150III 4×12 cabinet.
EVH 5150III Amp Specs
EVH 5150III 50-Watt Head is a three-channel Amp. Channels one and two share EQ, with gain, low, mid, high and volume controls; channel three has gain, low, mid, high, volume and master presence and resonance controls. Other features include selectable impedance (4, 8 or 16 ohms), dual parallel speaker output jacks, effects loop, headphone jack, line out and black hardware. Included four-button footswitch has 1/4” input jack and also accommodates MIDI footswitching. EVH 5150III 50-Watt Amp is available in black and ivory textured vinyl covering with black EVH-striped grille.
The new EVH 5150III 2×12 and 1×12 Cabinets makes perfect team with EVH 5150III 50-Watt Head. The 5150III 2×12 cabinet is rated at 16 ohms and is loaded with dual 30-watt Celestion Speakers. It is exactly half the cubic size (by volume) of its 4×12 big brother, with a head-mounting mechanism and tilt-back legs.
EVH 5150III 1×12 Cabinet is also rated at 16 ohms and is loaded with a single 30-watt Celestion Heritage speaker. It is exactly 25 percent of the cubic size (by volume) of its 4×12 big brother. Both cabinets are available in black and ivory.
